The goal of this training is to help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; and learn childcare skills and basic first aid.” (American Red Cross website)

What are the Babysitting Regulations in Minnesota?

While Minnesota does not have a law for babysitter age, many counties in Minnesota do recommend that a child be at least 12 years of age to babysit. Again, there is no law, but rather counties do have recommendations.
